Jaquess Wins A Pair Of Golds, Claims Her Fourth Consecutive Jumping Title
Jaquess, Garcia Win Gold At Pan Am Games
LIMA, Peru – Regina Jaquess’ father just might have to buy another trophy case.
The five-time Pan American Games veteran and now 16-time medalist upgraded from her silver-medal finish in slalom in Toronto 2015 and defended her jumping crown for the fourth consecutive Games.
With her first jump, Jaquess sealed the title.
U.S. Pan American Water Ski Team members Regina Jaquess (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) and Taylor Garcia (Winter Garden, Fla.) won gold medals and teammates Mary Morgan Howell (Dothan, Ala.), Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Adam Pickos (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) each earned medals on Monday at the XVIII Pan American Games at Laguna Bujama in Lima, Peru. Jaquess won gold medals in women’s slalom and jumping, while Garcia won gold in men’s jumping.
